Postcards are finished!
Well, the fronts are finished for the iHanna DIY Postcard Swap! They just need to be addressed and taken to the post office. Actually, I’m stressing a bit over what to write on the backs, I’m not much of a writer.
I’m happy with these 12…
Funny how plans change as I do things like this. As I start working on one, I change things that I DID like about another one. It is a process of evolving and knowing when to stop. Or simply time is forcing me to stop, because of a deadline.
Creating like this can be difficult for me because I miss the luxury of a computer. There is no way to nudge type, or make it bolder, or a few points larger, or the brown a little redder, or the yellow not so saturated… It is what it is. I find this helpful for me to loosen up and forgo perfection.
Not sure which 2 I will keep!

Thanks for sharing, and don’t worry about what to write. A “Hi! I hope you are having a great day, wishing you the best” is enough… :-)
Take care!

Dinny, “Hello” I just traveled out to my mailbox on this spring afternoon and was delighted to see the corner of a deep blue card with dainty orange and white flowers peeking out between the white familiar business envelopes that clutter the usual find. Oh, how I LOVE your postcard to me! The texture is wonderful…for I cannot keep my fingers from it! Just beautiful! Thank you for including your site here so I could meet you and get to know you a bit better. I have enjoyed this swap so much….I have received 4 of the 10 cards so far. The entire process of creating and wondering who will receive them and if they will be blessed has made the month of April an interesting one. As I have sought out the blogs of those I sent cards to and now of the creative ones I am receiving them from, I find it interesting to see how there are similarities with us all…so much joy, speck so. Well, thank you again for this beautiful card! It is a true treasure…I am thankful! God Bless

Your postcards are lovely! I usually include a quote on the back of mine so I don’t feel pressured to say something witty. :)
